Privacy policy

The Truth Heals ("we," "us") is operated by Carter C. Felder, a sole proprietor in Virginia, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit thetruthheals.shop or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
- Information we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and order details. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Shopify Payments, powered by Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
When you browse the site, our store platform, Shopify, automatically collects technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. It does this through cookies and similar technologies.
If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- How we use it
We use your information to process and ship your order, send order and shipping updates, handle returns and refunds, answer your questions, prevent fraud, keep the site working, understand how the site is used, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not currently send marketing emails. If we add a mailing list, we will ask for your consent first, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.
- Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the store:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes order data (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy)
- Shopify Payments and Stripe, which process payments (https://stripe.com/privacy)
- The U.S. Postal Service, which delivers your order
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud.
We do not sell your personal information.
- Cookies and analytics
Our site uses Shopify's standard cookies to run the cart and checkout, remember your preferences, and give us basic analytics about site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work without them.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to it, our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
- How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for fulfillment, returns, accounting, and tax purposes, generally up to seven years. Other information is kept only as long as it is useful for the purposes above.
- Security
We rely on Shopify's and Stripe's security measures, including encrypted checkout. No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Email thetruthhealsshop@gmail.com with your request. We will respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We will honor those rights where they apply.
- Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
- U.S. only
We sell and ship only within the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.
- Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
